Cone Ends, Bead Cones & Bead End Caps
Bead cones or cone ends are used for connecting multi strand designs to create a professional finish, or as bead end caps for topping, tailing and spacing beads. Cone ends cover the point at which a crimp cover, chain end, or multiple bead strings attach to a jewellery finding, such as a clasp. Bead cones or cone ends are useful for bringing multi strand designs together onto a clasp. Attach the strands to an eye pin loop then guide it point first through the cone end exiting the top hole. Cut the pin to length, before turning a second eye loop to secure the ends inside the bead cone and provide an anchor for the clasp.
Beading end caps come in various shapes, sizes and metals, including solid brass and solid copper, plated metals such as copper plated, gold plated and silver plated, or with applied finishes like antique copper, antique silver, antique black, bronze and gunmetal bead cones.
