Bead caps and bell caps can be used at both ends of a bead or singly to create an acorn effect. Bead caps reduce large bead holes stopping head pins slipping through or cap bead hole damage. Opened out or layered metal bead caps can be used to create flowers, placed end to end to create a round, or with larger bead caps used as standalone elements. Small shallow bead caps can be used as spacer beads.

Bead caps and bell caps come in acrylic, brass, and solid copper, plated metals such as copper plated, gold plated and silver plated, or with applied finishes like antique copper, antique silver, black antique, bronze and gunmetal bead caps.
