1 Vintage Glass Cabochons Green Egyptian Scarab Cherry Brand Oval Cabochon 13mm x 9mm. Japanese Cherry Brand green glass oval cabochons with scarab detailing on their face and a plain base.
Cherry Brand glass cabochons made by homeworkers in occupied Japan immediately after the Second World War and exported to American bead dealers. These were amongst the top ranking products for bringing much needed foreign currency into Japan. In their way these Japanese cabochons helped to rebuild Japan.

Cabochons have no hole for stringing but can be set in a metal finding or glued into a cabochon setting or frame.
