Become A Big Bead Little Bead Artist Bead Maker
BigBeadLittleBead has a good number of artist beadmakers who offer their beads and components for sale through the Artist Made section of our website. Following the popularity of this niche area with our customers, we are very keen to expand the range and depth of the unique Artist Made products that we currently have available, hence the call – Artist Bead Makers Wanted!
Our aim is twofold:
- To widen our showcase of talented beadmakers and the beadmaking areas that we cover
- To offer a greater choice of interesting, unusual, and often one of a kind handcrafted beads for sale to our customers
To this end we need you!
We are very keen to hear from artisans and small scale independent bead makers working with any manner of materials and techniques, who may already be marketing their designs, or simply want to test the waters. We are not looking for any form of exclusivity, so if you are already selling your items through an online marketplace such as Etsy, your own website, or are perhaps supplying stock to a bricks and mortar shop, this does not pose a problem for us. That said, we would like to be able to offer our customers a set of artisan made designs that are unique to Big Bead Little Bead, but the solution to this could be as simple as supplying us with beads in a unique colour-way.
As you would expect, quality is the key, but if you think your work is of a sufficiently high standard (or other people do!) we are keen to discuss working with you. Do not see location or quantity as a barrier as we currently work with a beadmaker in Australia, and are equally happy to receive small quantities of beads at a time, just as long as the quality and interest is there for our customers.
In return for the inclusion of your products on our site we would undertake to:
- Provide our knowledge and expertise to work with you to select which of your products will work best with our customers
- Provide our knowledge and expertise to guide you as to the best price point for your products whilst balancing this against your time and material costs
- Photograph each item and then provide descriptions and keyword search terms in keeping with our house style, whilst acknowledging you as the beadmaker in each entry
- Actively marketing your designs via our blog, web site, magazine editorials and projects, Facebook and Twitter promotions, all running alongside our general half or quarter page magazine advertising campaigns
- Add your products to our Google Adwords campaigns and to our weekly Froogle uploads
- Manage all interaction with our customers, whilst ensuring that your products are afforded the same care and attention when despatched as we do with our core products – quality and presentation is very important to us.
