Garnet – Your Birthstone For January
The traditional birthstones, on both the official American and British Birthstones Lists, for those born in January is Garnet. The birthstone colour for this semi precious gemstone is deep red, although Garnet does also come in a wide variety of colours, most notably bright green. Garnet is said to give the wearer eternity, faith, health, perseverance, prosperity, strength and truth . . . so be sure to use it to personalise your jewellery!
