1x Chinese Red Lacquer Carved Heart Beads 17mm x 22mm. 17mm hole to hole. These beads are created by layering lacquer over a wooden base, and a design is carved into the finish. They are light in weight and, I think, rather lovely. Red lacquer is also known as cinnabar, from the Persian for 'dragon's blood'.
